The 1756-RM2K module is a redundancy module. It has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation in the ControlLogix series for use in a ControlLogix system. The 1756-RM2K redundancy module is typically the only redundancy module that is supported and required by a ControlLogix chassis at a time. It can be used in systems that support the Ethernet network. The 1756-RM2K redundancy module has current draw ratings of 1.16 Amps at 5.1 Volts DC and 3.4 milliamps at 24 Volts DC.
