The 1770-XYC device is a battery assembly that is available from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation PLC 5 series. The assembly includes a Panasonic lithium battery cell. The 1770-XYC battery assembly should not be used with different kinds of batteries in the same system because this may cause malfunctioning or damage to the system and the batteries. This lithium battery cell is made to be used with the Allen-Bradley PLC 5 series processors. The 1770-XYC battery assembly has been designed to be non-hazardous.
