The 1771-WHF field wiring arm has been designed as part of the PLC 5 series of controllers and control system components by Allen-Bradley. It is similar to the standard Allen-Bradley 1771-WH field wiring arm, but it includes a fuse. The 1771-WHF fused field wiring arm can be used with the Allen-Bradley 1771-OAD output module just like the 1771-WH field wiring arm, and it can provide fuses for all of the output circuits. This fused field wiring arm is designed to be attached to the pivot bar on the bottom of the I/O chassis that hosts the output module it is working with. As a result of this mounting position, the 1771-WHF fused field wiring arm can pivot upward to connect to the module, and the module can be connected or disconnected without disconnecting all the wires first.
