The VPL-B1306F-PJ14AA servo motor is a brushless servo motor that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is a member of the VPL Servo Motors series and it uses 6 magnet stacks to operate with low inertia levels. The VPL-B1306F-PJ14AA brushless servo motor’s shaft can rotate at up to 4500 RPM, and it can also be held at 0 RPM if necessary by the motor’s 24 Volts DC rated holding brake. Note that this holding brake cannot and should not be used to stop the shaft while it is still spinning; it is only intended to hold the stopped shaft still. The VPL-B1306F-PJ14AA brushless servo motor also comes with a multi-turn feedback encoder and a shaft key.
