It supports a current rating of 125 Amps, a thermal trip rating of 125 Amps, and a magnetic trip rating of 1250 Amps. The 140G-G6C3-D12 molded case circuit breaker functions as both fixed thermal and as a fixed magnetic type of circuit breaker. It can be used for branch protection applications or as a feeder protection device in a control panel. The 140G-G6C3-D12 molded case circuit breaker can operate with an 80% continuous load at a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees Celsius or 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
