The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation VPL-B1654D-PJ12AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor from the VPL series with permanent magnet technology. The permanent magnets in this servo motor are installed in 4 magnet stacks inside the motor and they reduce its inertia ratings. The VPL-B1654D-PJ12AA low-inertia servo motor is protected from dust in any mounting position, but its mounting position will affect how much protection it has from water. It has the highest protection rating from water (IP 53) if it is installed in a vertical position with its shaft pointing down. The VPL-B1654D-PJ12AA low-inertia servo motor supports a maximum shaft rotation speed of 3000 RPM.
