The 1746-IB8 digital input module has 8 sinking input channels rated at 24 Volts DC. It dissipates up to 1.9 Watts of energy as heat during normal operation. The 1746-IB8 SLC 500 digital input module has a nominal input current rating of 8 milliamps at 24 Volts DC.
