The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1791D-16B0 input module is a CompactBlock I/O 1791D series input module. It is a base CompactBlock input module and it has 16 sinking inputs. The 1791D-16B0 base input module also has a DeviceNet I/O adapter and a built-in power supply. It can produce 2 input bytes when it is used on its own. However, when the 1791D-16B0 base input module is used with an expansion input module, it can produce 5 input bytes, and when it is used with an expansion output module, it can produce 3 input bytes.
